Salt Lake City, UT - Join the American Red Cross and KKAT 107.5 FM radio for a Labor Day weekend blood drive on Friday, September 4, 2009 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  DJ Country Joe will broadcast live from the Salt Lake City Donor Center on 6616 South and 900 East between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  All presenting donors will receive a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and are eligible to enter a drawing to win Lagoon tickets or a Phantom 150cc scooter.

This drive is being organized to boost donations during a holiday period that is traditionally a difficult time for blood collections.
