Salt Lake City, UT --Join the American Red Cross on Wednesday, December 16 between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM for the annual Fox 13 Holiday Blood Drive. The blood drive will be held at the Salt Lake Donor Center on 6616 South 900 East in Salt Lake City, UT.
With all that’s going on during the holidays, it’s often hard for some people to find time to donate blood. That’s why the Red Cross and Fox 13 have come together to give donors an opportunity to donate blood at one of the most festive and exciting blood drives of the year. Local TV personalities are expected to be on hand including an appearance by Fox’s own Big Budah.
All presenting donors will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt and be entered to win great prizes including Body Worlds 3 tickets, gift certificates and much more. Subway and Harmon’s Grocery Stores will provide delicious food and snacks for donors during the holiday drive.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (with a signed Red Cross parental consent form), be in general good health, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Learn more about donor eligibility and the blood donation process.
