Boise, ID -- On the third Thursday of every month (May-September) the American Red Cross will host a special event for blood donors at the Boise Donor Center located at 5380 Franklin Road.
Come in to give blood between 1:30 and 7:30 on the third Thursday, and you'll get the chance to start your weekend a little early. Relax in a donor bed, help save lives, and hopefully have a bit of fun. There will be music, food, prizes, and perhaps a few surprises. Each month, DJs from a local radio station will broadcast live from the donor center. Whole blood donors can give every 56 days, so you might be able to liven up more than one Thursday this summer.

DJ's from KQFC kick off the Third Thursday Lifesavers Event 's with a live broadcast from the donor center. Enjoy a delicious sub from Cobby’s Sandwich Shop, listen to a live performance by the group Hard Bound, and check out the classic cars in our parking lot. Plus all presenting donors get a free t-shirt. Donate blood, have fun, and be a lifesaver this Thursday!
